Can you believe it has been 50 years since we graduated? Here is the schedule of events we are planning for our 50th reunion gala.

• Golf outing Friday, September 21: 8:30am - 1 pm, Kaufman Golf Course, 4807 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. This is a shot gun start scramble event with suggested arrival time of 8:30am for continental breakfast. Betty (Galdys) DeFouw is your hostess. Send eMail to Betty at edefouw@i2k.com if you have questions or to form your own foursome, OR leave a message at 616-455-6612. Your $29 fee, PAYABLE AT THE COURSE, includes nine holes of golf, cart, continental breakfast, lunch and prizes.

• Pre-Game Tailgate party Friday, September 21: 5:30 - 6:30pm at the CAT, 2770 Knapp St NE, Grand Rapids. Food and beverages are provided. A free will offering is suggested. Organizers: Bob Polakovich and Terry Moore.

• Football Game on Friday, September 21: 6:45-end. Watch the 2017 state champion Cougars versus Coopersville at the CAT, 2770 Knapp St NE, Grand Rapids. Buy your tickets at the gate for $5. There will be special seating for the Class of '68. Organizers: Bob Polakovich and Terry Moore.

• Mass at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, September 22: 4:30 pm, Mass at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, 215 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids. There will be a reserved seating area for us. Organizer: John Czachorski.

• CCHS Tour Saturday,September 22 - 5:45pm after Mass. Come see some of the changes that have taken place since we graduated. Current students and teachers will be your tour guides. Meet in the designated area in the CC courtyard. No charge. Organizer: Sue Mulry VanHaren and committee.

• The Main Event Saturday, September 22. 5:30-10:00 pm, Catholic Central Student Center, 319 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids. Happy hour starts at 6:00 pm in the Student Center at the high school. Beginning at 7:00 pm, enjoy heavy appetizers, beer, wine, pop, water, music and conversation with classmates. Your cost $68 per person. Organizer: Sue Mulry VanHaren and committee.

Please register on this site for each event you plan to attend, even if it is free, so we will know how many will be attending. For your convenience, you may use Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express to charge your registration for The Main Event on this site. Coming in from out of town and need a hotel? There is a block of rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Grand Rapids East. A second set of rooms are set aside at Country Inns and Suites, 3251 Deposit Dr. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. This is conveniently located near the Friday night CC football tailgater/game. No tickets will be provided or required. Your registration is all we need.

Yes. Fill out the information page found in your invitation letter, make your check payable to 'Catholic Central Class of 1968,' then mail the information page and check to John Czachorski, 5355 Chickadee Dr NE, Belmont, MI 49306.

I am coming in from out of town, is there anything else to do while I am here in Grand Rapids?

Art Prize www.artprize.org runs September 20 through October 8. This is an opportunity to see works of artists from all over the world. Many of the venues are outdoors. This is also as a great way to explore all the renovations of downtown Grand Rapids. Also consult, www.experiencegr.com and www.wmta.org.
